The Proctor Family Community Grants were established through the MacWala Foundation in recognition of the Proctor family's deep roots in Richmond County and their lifelong commitment to community, neighbours, and helping others.
Inspired by generations of community-minded leadership and volunteerism, these grants are intended to support the people and organizations who continue that tradition today. Through small but meaningful investments, the Proctor Family Community Grants help strengthen the communities that have shaped our family and continue to make Richmond County a special place to call home.
Each year, the MacWala Foundation will award a number of $500 Proctor Family Community Grants to local organizations, volunteer groups, and initiatives that are working to improve life in Richmond County.
Whether supporting youth programs, community events, recreation projects, cultural celebrations, environmental initiatives, or volunteer-driven efforts, these grants are designed to help local organizations create a positive impact where it matters most—close to home.
We believe strong communities are built by people who care about their neighbours, take pride in their communities, and work together to make a difference.
